Official terms and conditions ↗
- “Transactions are categorised according to the Merchant Category Code, and the MCC determines which preferred category the transaction falls under. 15% cashback on the preferred category is capped at S$250 per quarter.”
- “Up to 15% cashback on your preferred category (capped at S$250 per quarter) and 1% unlimited instant cashback on all local eligible spend with no cap.”
Notes
HOW IT EARNS
- One preferred category, TIERED on minimum MONTHLY spend:
S$500/month -> 5%, capped at S$30 a QUARTER
S$2,000/month -> 15%, capped at S$250 a QUARTER
The S$1,000 -> 10% tier was removed on 1 March 2026.
- Preferred cashback is IN ADDITION to the 1% every Eligible Spend earns, so
preferred spend earns 16% in total.
- All local spend 1.0% unlimited; all foreign spend 0.5% unlimited.
WATCH OUT
- THE CAPS ARE QUARTERLY, NOT MONTHLY. The 15% band is worth at most S$1,000
a year.
- The band is set by the WEAKEST month of the quarter, so one thin month
drops the whole quarter to the lower band.
- Minimum monthly spend counts on TRANSACTION date, not posting date.
NOT MODELLED
- The first-month waiver after approval.
- From 1 March 2026 Trust moved some MCCs from Wellness to Shopping; the
affected codes are not published in the Key Facts Sheet.
EVIDENCE
- Verified 2026-07-28 against Trust's Key Facts Sheet, whose rate tables are
published as IMAGES and were read directly.
- The statement prints a per-transaction FX rate, so FCY cost is exactly
measurable (PLAN §10.6).
